Dr. Joachim Borggräfe (*1946) studied law and business management at the universities of Bochum, Tübingen, Bonn and Berlin between1967 and 1972. For more than 15 years, he was in-house lawyer at the BASF-Group as well as at the K+S Aktiengesellschaft. From 1995 to 1999 he coordinated the establishment of the Central and East European office of the Haarmann Hemmelrath Lawyers Office in Frankfurt. Finally, he became the head of the German tax department of Jones Day. Since 2005, as a senior partner of Kaye Scholer (Germany) LLP, he has been responsible for the establishment of the Frankfurt Office. He has been a partner of GRAF KANITZ, SCHÜPPEN & PARTNER since July 2010.
